Welcome to GetReadyForJob ("we", "our", "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled.
1. Information We Collect
Resume & job description text: When you use our AI Resume Builder, ATS Checker, or Job Profile Matcher, the text you enter is sent securely to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate content or analysis. We do not permanently store this content on our servers.
Name & email address: Before downloading a resume, we ask for your email (and optionally your name) so we can send you resume tips and updates. This is stored with our email service provider, Brevo.
Payment information: If you purchase 24-hour unlimited access (₹49), payment is processed directly by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.
IP address: Like any website, our hosting provider and payment processor (Razorpay) automatically log IP addresses for security and fraud prevention.
Local browser storage: We use your browser's local storage (not tracking cookies) to remember whether you've unlocked 24-hour access and whether you've already provided your email, so we don't ask twice.

We share data only with the services needed to run GetReadyForJob:

GetReadyForJob does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use your browser's local storage only to remember your 24-hour unlock status and whether you've already shared your email — this data stays in your browser and is not used for tracking across other websites.
5. Data Security
All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Resume and job description text is processed in real time and not permanently stored on our servers.
6. Your Rights — Deleting Your Data
You can request deletion of your email from our mailing list, or ask what data we hold about you, anytime by emailing info@getreadyforjob.com. We'll act on your request within a reasonable time.
6a. Compliance with Indian Data Protection Law
We process your personal data (name, email) based on your consent, given when you voluntarily provide it before downloading a resume. In line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time by contacting info@getreadyforjob.com.
7. Children's Privacy
GetReadyForJob is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

These Terms govern your use of GetReadyForJob (getreadyforjob.com). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What We Provide
GetReadyForJob is an online tool that helps you write and format a resume. It includes an AI Resume Builder, an ATS Score Checker, a Job Profile Matcher, and a library of resume templates. The service is delivered entirely online — there is nothing to ship.
2. Free and Paid Access
Free: Building a resume, choosing templates, AI writing help, one ATS Score Check and one Job Profile Match.
Paid — ₹49: Unlimited ATS checks, unlimited Job Profile Matches and resume downloads (PDF and Word) for 24 hours from the time of payment.
Access is a one-time 24-hour pass. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. You will never be charged again unless you choose to buy access again.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes. Refunds are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. About the AI Content
Resume text, scores and suggestions are generated by AI. AI can make mistakes. Please read and edit everything before sending your resume to an employer. You are responsible for the accuracy of what your resume says about you.
The ATS score is our own estimate based on common screening patterns. Every employer uses different software, so we cannot promise that a particular score means a particular outcome.
5. No Job Guarantee
We help you present your experience well. We do not guarantee interviews, shortlisting or employment. No resume tool can.
6. Your Content
Your resume text stays yours. You give us permission only to process it so the service can work. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train AI models.
7. Acceptable Use
Do not enter false information about your qualifications or experience.
Do not enter another person's details without their permission.
Do not attempt to overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
Do not resell or redistribute access you have paid for.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service running at all times, but we may need to pause it for maintenance or because of problems at a third-party provider. If a paid feature is unavailable during your 24-hour window, please contact us — see the Refund Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The "Last Updated" date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Uttar Pradesh, India.

GetReadyForJob sells one thing: 24 hours of unlimited access for ₹49. Access starts immediately after payment. This page explains when we refund that amount.
1. Nothing to Cancel
Your ₹49 buys a single 24-hour pass. It is not a subscription. There is no auto-renewal and no recurring charge, so there is nothing you need to cancel. When the 24 hours end, access simply stops.
2. When We Refund
We refund the full ₹49 if the service did not work for you. Contact us within 7 days of payment if any of these happened:
Money was deducted but access was never unlocked.
You were charged more than once for the same purchase.
The AI features (Resume Builder, ATS Checker, Job Profile Matcher) failed repeatedly during your 24 hours.
Resume download did not work during your 24 hours.
3. When We Cannot Refund
You used the paid features normally and simply changed your mind afterwards.
You are unhappy with the wording the AI produced. AI output varies — you can regenerate it as often as you like during your 24 hours, and you can edit every line before downloading.
You did not get an interview or a job. We help you write a resume; we do not promise hiring outcomes.

5. How Long It Takes
We reply within 2 working days. If the refund is approved, we process it immediately and Razorpay returns the money to the original payment method (UPI, card or bank account). Banks usually take 5–7 working days to show the credit. The exact timing is set by your bank, not by us.
6. Failed Payments
If a payment fails but money still leaves your account, it is normally an automatic bank reversal and returns within 5–7 working days without any action from you. If it does not, email us with the Payment ID and we will follow it up with Razorpay.
